Trickyman is a DJ, Producer, Musician and Radio presenter. Totally dedicated to the cause of good music he's a regular DJ in venues and at festivals around the UK. Currently based in Manchester he has a deep appreciation of many musical styles and he's known for keeping up-to-date, whilst giving an appreciative and knowledgeable nod to the past. Mixing up the genres, he satisfies even the most ardent of musical fans and has been likened to a mash-up of Gilles Peterson, DJ Yoda, Fatboy Slim and the legendary Sir Norman Jay. A high accolade indeed!
Genres mixed / presented include: Nu Disco, Indie, Mash Ups, Funk, Folk, Nu Soul, Electronica, Beats, Breaks, Nu Jazz, Deep House, Chill & Hip-Hop. Having promoted dozens of successful nights (ranging from Indie to NuJazz/Nu Soul and DeepHouse) around the UK he's now a resident DJ on ReelHouse FM with his 'Ideal Friends' radio show on Sunday Afternoons. In addition to being a DJ, he's also a musician and producer and will be in the studio throughout 2013 recording original debut material. |
